Celene Haque Tanner
Celene is a trusted source of information for both clients and candidates, serving as the go-to person at GoodCitizen when needs arise. Celene enjoys being a thought partner with all her clients, helping them through the search process, and ensuring they are kept up to date at every step. She brings her customer service, project management skills, and passion for mission-driven organizations to her portfolio of searches, supporting clients like Friends of the Children, RIP Medical Debt, and Grace Place for Children and Families. Celene oversees a variety of searches in her portfolio and provides thoughtful assessments of candidates through her years of experience in search, international development, and university career services.
Prior to joining GoodCitizen in 2018, Celene served as a philanthropy intern with Landesa and worked as a Peer Career Advisor at Seattle Pacific University, helping undergraduate students find internships and jobs, and providing advice on professional materials such as cover letters, resumes, and applications. She also worked as an intern with CEA Study Abroad helping create a program that allowed students to study in France.
Celene holds bachelor’s degrees in Global Development and Political Science with an emphasis in International Affairs from Seattle Pacific University.
In her free time, Celene plays referee between her two dogs to make sure the little one doesn’t hurt the big one’s feelings.
